Teacher-focused

The Platform for Innovative Learning Assessments (PILA) places teachers at the centre of the assessment design process by offering customisation tools so they can create assessment content themselves to fit their students’ needs. Teachers from different countries have also contributed to the design of the tasks, reporting dashboards and other aspects of the platform.

PILA welcomes all teachers to join the PILA community and to participate in PILA pilot studies, teacher workshops and/or informal feedback discussions as project ambassadors!

Powered by research, for research

PILA powers innovative research on learning and assessment, and accelerates the development and testing of new EdTech solutions. The secure platform upon which PILA is built makes freely available to researchers and developers a comprehensive set of tools to design digital tasks, collect time-stamped data on students’ actions, analyse the data and produce performance reports. All data collected through PILA will be made available to researchers in fully anonymised form to advance research on how students think and learn.
